a car accident took place and i gave the officer my statement and he went and talked to people i stated i was with and told them something that i had never said and mixed my words around completely and in fact told them the exact opposite of what i was assuring him several times that had not happened. therefor my friends think i threw them under the bus so i wouldnt get in trouble and made something up. which is not the case at all. and because of this half of my friends wont talk to me and i am looking for legal action i can take because of this help

Okay so here the deal. I had a guy stay with me and he went to the city when he came back one of our schools had been robbed but he was in the city he brought me a few computers to fix for him and I put in a anti virus disc into one of them, Didn’t touch any of the others. He came back 20 minutes later and took them all back to the city. The next thing I know is Me and him get into an argument he breaks the door to my bathroom, and I call the cops. He says he broke into the school and stole some stuff up there. Now i get charged with computer tampering in the third degree and posseion of stolen property in the 4th 2 felonys. I go to court and the laywer I had makes me sign a pre plea bargain for 3 years probation, court costs and restitution, this guy come to find out is an illeagal alien, now He does 4 1/2 months in jail and gets sent to ice detainee area in albany NY they release him and say his charges are no severe enough. Now he is walking around with a criminal record prior to this and no restitution no court costs. For me this is a first time offence, they never found anything in my posseion, I told the cops the truth they searched my house and property with out a search warrant because I allowed them to I have nothing to find but now this guy is walking around is this legal what can I do?

I bought some anthrax pellets to scatter over the estate – as I thought to rid the land of this terrible disease. Imagine my horror to discover that the pellets were designed to spread the disease not prevent it. This was not explained to me by the sales lady who, now I think about it, was actively distracting me by flaunting her ample bosom provocatively.

Do I have any redress as I fear I may be the subject of litigation by the people (or at least the next-of-kin of the people) who contracted this terrible disease. I still have the receipt if that is any help.

I would like to study law and this is a topic which I will have to present at school. Basically, I will have to talk about Mergers and Acquisitions but I find it hard to relate it to law. My presentation sounds more like a business talk. So what should I include in it and what exactly is the role of a lawyer dealing with Mergers and Acquisitions?

I Lent someone money and they signed a contract.I want to get a lawyer to send them a copy of it plus letter saying if they dont pay by due date (which they said they wont and never saw contract) i will be taking legal action.Any idea how much a lawyer would charge to send letter?

For the past two years I have been dealing with claims and disputes regarding my former auto insurance company and telephone company (separate issues). Basically, they have both screwed me and now I want to try to do something about it by suing them. Halfway through the trial, Brooke decides to change her lawyer to a law student at Harvard, an internship, Elle Woods. Are you allowed to change your lawyer halfway through the trial, while the court is in session?
When the student was entitled the lawyer, she had the supervision of accociate attorney.
Also, are you allowed to do this WHILE the court is in session? Halfway through the case?
